Dilemmas in our country's boardrooms are at the center of a new podcast series. In “Update from De Bestuurskamer”, a partner from consultancy firm De Bestuurskamer always talks to a leader from business, politics or government. The presentation is in the hands of publicist and advisor Onno Aerden.
In the first episode, which has now been released online, Inge Brakman talks to D66 politician and former cabinet member Alexandra van Huffelen. The issues discussed in the podcast concern the precarious relationship between politics and business and the impact of artificial intelligence on boardrooms around the world. Van Huffelen is a strong advocate for more intensive cooperation between The Hague and the business community: “It's nice to see that cooperation between politics and business is getting one step further each time — such as around Brainport Eindhoven or in the port of Rotterdam. But you would like that collaboration to be more structurally organized than is currently the case.”
